Driven (almost with obsession) by the
pursuit of an Aesthetics—Experience
through visual.
For over 10 years working as a multidisciplinary designer and integrated art director collaborating within creative teams for tier one agency-networks and accounts, always involved in the creation of strategic marketing campaigns—visual concepts, social media content, branding and all kinds of digital visual systems. During this time and besides being fortunate enough to work with—and learn from some of the most talented creatives around, I developed my professional practice and AD chops.
I often create albums-of-chance, detail and the memory of everyday life.
In my images converge the aesthetics of the involuntary and the aesthetics of the decisive moment—two concepts that heavily influence street-photography.
Artistic production is the space where I find tools to promote a critical view on contemporary–thinking.
Inspired by contrasting visions between nature and society, I create atmospheric images using patchwork, textures and patterns, as well as never-before-seen characters. My visuals usually begin with unconventional ideas and sketches, then I continue to work digitally, layering line, color, and collage into a work that is multi-sensory rich and complex. In my process, the appropriation of forms, styles, images, texts and sounds from both–art history and popular culture–is always present, is evident.
